Morigaon, 26 December (HS): Due to the prompt action taken by Morigaon police in the case, two criminals were sentenced by the court on Thursday. Morigaon police informed on X that Sanjay Satnami and Mantu Hira, accused in case number-227/16 of Morigaon police station, have been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment and a fine of ₹10,000 under section 408/34 IPC by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Morigaon.

The police is taking further action in this case.
