Guwahati, 22 December (HS): Manipur Police arrested two peddlers with 21,600 suspected SP capsules on National Highway-2. The action took place near Hengbung village in Senapati district, where a four-wheeler was stopped and searched. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Akbar Khan (37) and Mohammad Abdul Rahman (36).

Police recovered 21,600 suspected SP (Sempax +) capsules kept in 30 boxes from the vehicle. Along with this, four mobile phones, an Aadhar card, a PAN card, and ₹3760 in cash were also seized. These medicines are suspected to be used as drugs. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
