Guwahati, 21 December (HS): North Guwahati Journalist Forum of North Guwahati has announced to honor three journalists who have made special contributions to Assam's journalism this year. In this program organized in collaboration with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, senior journalist Jitendra Kumar Choudhary of Dainik Assam will be awarded Ramesh Chandra Nath Memorial Journalism Award, senior journalist Nandan Pratim Sharma Bardalai of News Live will be awarded Jagat Chandra Gogoi Memorial Journalism Award and senior journalist Majibur Rahman of Nalbari will be awarded Bhuvan Chandra Dutta Memorial Rural Journalism Award.

This award ceremony will be held on December 27 in the auditorium of Public Works Department of Amingaon. Eminent linguist Dr. Upen Rabha Hakacham will be present as the chief guest in the program. Apart from this, Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup District Devkumar Mishra and Special Officer to the Chief Minister Hemant Chaudhary will also be present as special guests.
