New Delhi, 2 December (H.S.): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken a significant step by filing a charge sheet in the explosion case that occurred at a factory in Bankura, West Bengal.
The central investigation agency has accused two individuals in the charge sheet, but the name of a third accused has been removed due to their death. The NIA has filed the charge sheet under the BNS and ES Act at the NIA Special Court in Kolkata on Monday (2 December).
The third accused, identified as Joydeb Mandal alias Bablu Mandal, died in the blast, which is why the charges against him were removed.
The other two accused, Dhananjay Gorai and Karimul Khan, are still being charged for their involvement in the illegal transport of explosives that led to the blast.
