Nagaon (Assam), 29 November (HS): Jakhalabandha police of Kaliabar in Nagaon district have arrested a female drug peddler involved in drug smuggling. Police said on Friday that based on secret information, the female drug peddler was arrested during an operation conducted in Sikhni-Barhola of Jakhalabandha police station area. The arrested woman has been identified as Aklima Khatun (22).

The arrested woman was arrested red-handed by the police while selling drugs. Police recovered 4.35 grams of drugs from the arrested accused. Police have registered an FIR under the NDPS Act in this regard and are intensively interrogating the arrested female drug peddler.
