Barabanki, 10 November (HS): A huge crowd of
devotees gathered in the 14 rounds parikrama of Shri Ram Janaki Ji, where
women, men and children performed parikrama with great reverence and devotion.
A large number of police personnel were also present for security. A crowd of
devotees gathered in the 14 rounds parikrama of Shri Ram Janaki Ji at Shri Ram
Janaki Balaji Maharaj Sangat Temple located in Zaidpur town. The devotees
carried the saffron flag in their hands and performed the parikrama with great
enthusiasm accompanied by sounds of conch shells, bells and gongs. During the
parikrama, the devotees kept showering flowers on the devotees from the
rooftops of their houses.
In view of peace and security, Zaidpur Police
Administration kept a strict vigil on the Parikrama Marg. Police station
in-charge Amit Pratap Singh along with his team inspected the Parikrama Marg
and took stock of the situation. Apart from this, the employees of the Nagar
Panchayat administration were also present at the parikrama site.
After the
completion of the parikrama, the temple priest Awadhesh Kumar Nigam ji
worshiped Shri Ram Janaki ji and performed a grand aarti. After this Prasad was
distributed to the devotees.
