New Delhi, 22 November (HS). The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has imposed a fine of ₹10 lakh on Tata-led Air India. The aviation regulator has taken this action against Air India for not following the rules.
DGCA said in a statement issued on Wednesday that a fine of ₹10 lakh has been imposed on Air India for not following the rules. DGCA said that on November 3, a show cause notice was issued to Air India, in which its reply was sought for non-compliance with the provisions of the relevant rules. More information is awaited on this matter.
It is noteworthy that Air India Airlines is owned by Air India Limited under the Tata Group.
