Prayagraj, 14 Aug (HS): As part of the Amrit Mahotsav of the

country's Independence Day, Uttar Pradesh Government's Industrial Development

Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi will preside over the flag-hoisting

ceremony in Pratapgarh district on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has nominated Minister Nandi for this function.

Minister Nandi will participate in various events, including hoisting the flag

at the main event celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence in Pratapgarh.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the

Amrit Mahotsav of Independence will be celebrated in the most grand manner in

Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' will

preside over the flag hoisting ceremony to be held in Pratapgarh district on

the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. On Independence Day, August 15th, a morning

procession, flag hoisting, and a felicitation ceremony and competitions will be

organized.

Minister Nandi stated that PM Modi's campaign to hoist the

national flag on a large scale across the country as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit

Mahotsav is bearing fruit. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for a

Tiranga in every home, flags will be hoisted in all districts, homes,

and commercial establishments. The tricolor will be seen fluttering in homes as

well as in the sky, and everywhere you look, you'll see the tricolor.

On the morning of 15th August, a morning procession of

school children will be taken out in Pratapgarh, there will be a march past to

the tune of the band, along with tree plantation, freedom fighters, martyrs and

the families of soldiers and police personnel martyred in the wars after

independence will be honoured.
