Prayagraj, 14 Aug (HS): On the eve of Independence Day,

Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi paid

tribute to the immortal martyrs and extended his heartfelt greetings and best

wishes to the people of the state. He said that we are fortunate that the dream

of a strong, prosperous, and happy India envisioned by our ancestors is

becoming a reality under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a press release and congratulatory message, Minister

Nandi stated that on August 15, 1947, after a long struggle and wait, India's

self-respect, independence, and new identity dawned. This day is a day to

express gratitude to the sons of Mother India who sacrificed their lives for

independence. Independence Day reminds us of national pride as well as the

discharge of national duties. It is the responsibility of all citizens of the

state to contribute their civic sense to the grand sacrifice of making India a

global superpower. Let us build a strong and prosperous India befitting our

glorious past.

Independence Day is a day to be proud: Minister Nandi said

that on this Independence Day, every person must take a pledge to make the

country a self-reliant and developed nation by 2047, to uproot the mentality of

slavery, to be proud of the country's rich heritage, and to strengthen India's

unity. Only then will our country establish new dimensions of progress and

development. Minister Nandi said that under the guidance of Prime Minister

Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar

Pradesh is moving towards becoming the best state and a state with a one

trillion dollar economy. He said that Independence Day is a day to be proud of

India's culture, vibrant democratic tradition and 75 years of achievements.
