Bhubaneswar, 14 August (H.S.): Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati interacted with Tourism Development Officer trainees of the Odisha Tourism Service (OTS) cadre at Lok Bhavan and discussed the state’s vast tourism potential.

During the interaction, the Governor highlighted Odisha’s rich cultural, spiritual, historical and natural heritage, with particular emphasis on its significant Buddhist legacy. He referred to important Buddhist heritage sites including Dhauli, Ratnagiri, Udayagiri, Lalitgiri and Jirang as key destinations with immense potential to attract visitors from across the country and abroad.

Dr. Kambhampati encouraged the young officers to bring innovative and fresh ideas to promote Odisha’s diverse tourism assets and develop the state as a leading tourism destination.
