
Lucknow, 06 July (HS): On the auspicious occasion of the
125th birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the immortal son of
Mother India, a staunch nationalist thinker, a great educationist and founder
of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid his respectful
homage by offering flowers at his statue at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee (Civil)
Hospital in Lucknow on Monday.
On this occasion, Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State
(Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship, also paid tribute to Dr. Mukherjee by offering flowers at his
statue along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal
said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee's life dedicated to the unity, integrity
and cultural nationalism of the nation will always be a source of inspiration
for all of us. He said that Dr. Mukherjee's ideals, thoughts and spirit of
'Nation First' will continue to guide future generations.
He said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sacrificed
everything to keep Jammu and Kashmir an integral part of India. His declaration
of two constitutions, two heads, and two flags will not be tolerated in
one country still resonates in the hearts of every patriot. Under the
leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is working
with the resolve of One India, Best India by embracing Dr. Mukherjee's
ideas.
