Nagpur, 28 July

(HS): The students of Somalwar School and Palloti School in rescued as road in

front of the school were inundated, according to Nagpur Municipal Corporation.

Reports from other areas are pouring in. Nagpur city is lashed with heavy rain

since 12 noon on Tuesday.

Four youths were

stranded in the Biodiversity Park near the Ambazari Lake. Efforts were being

made to rescue them. Canals are overflowing and low-lying areas are flooded.

The flooding of

city roads affected traffic badly. Congestion were reported from several areas

of the city. The school buses reached two to three hours late for dropping the

students at home.

Power supply and internet services were also affected.
