Guwahati, 24 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma attended a programme at Chinmaya Mission in Six Mile on Friday as part of the nationwide Amrit Yatra being organised to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Chinmaya Mission.

During the event, the Chief Minister unveiled the Assamese translation of the Bhagavad Gita. The translated edition, rendered by Swami Chinmayananda, was formally released in the presence of Swami Mitranandaji.

The programme marked a significant milestone in the Mission's year-long celebrations, highlighting its contribution to the promotion of Indian spiritual and cultural values.------------
