'Only official website and notification ofCommission should

be considered authentic': Chairman, Education Service Selection Commission

Lucknow, 14 July (HS): Dr Prashant Kumar, Chairman of Uttar

Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj, has taken a tough

stand on the misleading information being spread regarding PGT, TET and other

examinations and has alerted the candidates. Dr Prashant Kumar said that it has

come to the notice of the Commission that some persons are instigating and

misleading the candidates to come to the Commission's office and submit

applications regarding OMR sheets, answer keys, cutoffs, marks obtained in

relation to PGT, TET and other examinations. Along with this, fake records are

being prepared through AI and unverified information regarding money

transactions is also being circulated.

The Commission Chairman clarified that the results of the

PGT examination have already been declared. The scores of all candidates, as

well as the written exam, interview, and final scores of selected candidates,

have been separately displayed on the Commission's website. Dr. Prashant Kumar

appealed to candidates not to believe such misleading and baseless information.

Only advertisements and information published on the Commission's official

website should be considered authentic. He warned that strict legal action will

be taken, as per the rules, against those who disseminate false and misleading

information, mislead candidates, or attempt to extort money. The Commission has

advised candidates not to visit the Commission's office for any information or

fall prey to the influence of brokers. All information is available on the

Commission's website, www.upessc.gov.in.
