
Jammu, 14 July (H.S.): A successful Paramotoring (Powered Paragliding) flight was conducted today, 14th July 2026, covering the route Take-off from Sankari – Panchari – and Landing back at Sankari.
The flight was skillfully carried out by Pilot Vikas Dubey, Pilot Suresh Kumar, and Pilot Antriksh Sharma, who demonstrated remarkable flying skills and professionalism throughout the operation. The flight is being hailed as the first-ever successful Paramotoring (Powered Paragliding) event in Jammu & Kashmir, marking a historic milestone for adventure sports in the Union Territory. The successful flight attracted the attention of local residents and adventure enthusiasts, highlighting the immense potential of Panchari as a destination for adventure tourism and aerial sports.
On the occasion, Ex-Sarpanch Prabhat Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Kuldeep Kumar, and Khajoor Singh, Social Worker from Panchari, extended their heartfelt congratulations to all three pilots for their remarkable achievement. They appreciated the team's dedication and courage and expressed hope that such pioneering adventure activities would promote tourism, inspire local youth, and showcase the breathtaking natural beauty of the Panchari region to visitors from across the country.
The dignitaries further stated that this historic achievement would open new avenues for adventure tourism in Panchari and encourage the Government and tourism authorities to develop the region as a premier destination for aerial and adventure sports. They also conveyed their best wishes to the pilots for their future endeavours and hoped that many more such successful events would be organized in the region.
