Lucknow, 14 July (HS): In Lucknow, at the 'UP on Heights'
program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on
opposition. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath slammed the SP and Congress for
hurting Hindu feelings by permitting Namaz at Hanumangarhi and said, “Those
people are talking about the faith of Shri Ayodhya Dham, who used to make
arrangements for offering Namaz at sacred sites like Shri Hanumangarhi..This
assault is happening continuously; we must remain vigilant. We have succeeded
in tripling the economy of Uttar Pradesh and the per capita income in 9
years... UP was not BIMARU; BIMARU was that 'mindset' which was ruling inside
UP before the year 2017. India's first inland waterway, first rapid rail, first
city ropeway is in UP. The most airports, metro in seven cities, and the
largest railway network is also in UP”
“In the year 2017, the first rioters used to be invited to
the Chief Minister's residence and honored. Governments would bow low and rub
their noses in the dust before the mafia...
Over the past 9 years, the state has carved out its identity
as a Festival State free from riots, curfews, and disturbances,” he
added.
“In 2017, the first chikankari was in tears, the glass
industry was in ruins, and the brass enterprise had already been destroyed. Uttar
Pradesh is today exporting MSME items worth more than Rs. 2 lakh crore. The
double-engine government branded 'One District-One Product' and linked the
products to GI tags. Uttar Pradesh is today number-1 in sugarcane, sugar and
ethanol production within the country. We believe that when the annadata farmer
prospers, the state will prosper. Today, UP is reaping the benefits of their
prosperity. In the state, we have provided government jobs to more than 9 lakh
youths. Over 2 lakh 25 thousand recruitments have been made in UP Police,” he
mentioned prior to signing off.
