Lucknow, 14 July (HS): Posters depicting Samajwadi Party

founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and party chief Akhilesh Yadav wearing skull caps

associated with the Muslim community appeared in several places in Uttar

Pradesh on Tuesday, with the party claiming that the BJP is attempting to

divert attention away from the Ram Temple donation theft issue. The posters,

which were shown in Lucknow, Mathura, Sitapur, and Barabanki, among other

locations, portrayed Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav wearing skull caps

and with the phrase Dil mein Babar, munh mein Ram (Babar in the

heart, Ram on the lips). Om Prakash Rajbhar, a state minister and Suheldev

Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president, justified the posters as suitable.

In Sitapur, the posters appeared along the highway and

Kanshiram Colony on the bypass, forcing SP officials to take them down. Anand

Bhadauria, a Samajwadi Party (SP) MP, manually dismantled one of the hoardings

with party workers and described the event as cowardice. This is the second

time these hoardings have arrived. I am convinced the BJP is behind this.

Bhadauria warned that whenever such posters are seen, they should be pulled

down and burned. In Mathura, SP district president Virendra Yadav said that

anti-social forces had attempted to disrupt communal peace by erecting

offensive hoardings. The BJP is so shaken that it has no choice except to

engage in Hindu-Muslim politics and incite religious feelings. They have been

thoroughly exposed in the Ram temple donation scandal, Yadav claims. He urged

party members and the general public to preserve peace and requested that the officials

identify individuals guilty using CCTV evidence and take tough legal action. Pradeep

Chaudhary, a senior SP leader, said the party will file a FIR. We will analyze

CCTV video to identify individuals responsible for this vandalism. This is a

plot to disrupt peace and tranquility, he stated.

Another senior SP official, Ashok Agrawal, said that the posters were a ploy to

deflect attention away from the ongoing investigation into anomalies in Ram

temple contributions.

Akhilesh Yadav is a profoundly pious individual. Voters are now informed and

cannot be deceived, he stated. Congress MP Pradeep Mathur also urged an

investigation, claiming that such questions were raised since the BJP and RSS

were implicated in the Ram temple donation dispute.

SP leader Taj Baba Rain denounced the event as a plan to

destroy the party's reputation and disrupt social peace. Sudhir Singh, the

in-charge of the Kotwali police station, stated that hoardings had been

confiscated and an inquiry had begun. CCTV footage is being investigated. After

receiving the complaint, a FIR will be filed, and those involved will face

consequences, he stated.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Rajbhar responded to the situation by defending the

posters. The posters are fitting. If you look at the legislative processes following

the demolition of the Babri Masjid, Ram Gopal Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, and

Akhilesh Yadav repeatedly said that they accepted responsibility for ordering

the fire on kar sevaks. They further stated that even if Hindus did not vote

for them, they would fight out for Muslim rights. Rajbhar explained that these

posters are a reaction to their remarks.
