Guwahati, 11 July (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said he has held an interactive meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party's newly elected MLAs and lauded their commitment to public service and the development of Assam.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister said the discussion reflected the legislators' dedication, vision and strong resolve to work for the welfare of the people. He expressed confidence that the BJP legislative team, combining youthful energy, experience and fresh ideas, would make governance more effective, constructive and people-centric.

Dr. Sarma also conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected legislators, expressing hope that they would fulfil the aspirations of the people and contribute significantly towards building a developed Assam.----------
