Hooghly, 07 June (H.S.): As part of the West Bengal government’s “Sunday on Cycle” initiative, a bicycle rally was organized in Serampore on Sunday, similar to events held across different parts of the state.

The rally was organized by the Serampore Sub-Divisional Administration and witnessed participation from State Minister Bhaskar Bhattacharya, who rode a bicycle to promote fitness, environmental awareness, and a healthy lifestyle.

The rally was flagged off in front of the Sub-Divisional Officer’s office and passed through various parts of the town before concluding at the same venue.

Administrative officials, local representatives, and a large number of citizens took part in the programme. The initiative aims to encourage the use of bicycles, spread awareness about environmental protection, and inspire people to adopt a healthier way of living.
