Nagaon (Assam), 07 June (HS): The full session of the Assam Satra Mahasabha will be held at Batadrava Than, the birthplace of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva. A general meeting has convened at the conference hall of the Batadrava Than Management Committee to discuss preparations for the upcoming session.

The meeting was organized under the initiative of the Assam Satra Mahasabha, with support from the Batadrava Than Management Committee and the West Nagaon District Satra Mahasabha. Satradhikars, young Sattriyas, and Vaishnav devotees from various satras across Nagaon, Morigaon and Hojai districts attended the gathering.

The meeting was chaired by Bhawananda Dev Goswami, Executive President of the Central Committee of Assam Satra Mahasabha and Satradhikar of Jorhat Puroni Mati Satra. The objectives of the meeting were explained by Central Committee President Kusum Kumar Mahanta.

Among those present were Amlanjyoti Dev Goswami, President of the Batadrava Than Management Committee and Satradhikar of Norowa Satra; Nityananda Dev Goswami of Norowa Kuji Satra; West Nagaon District President Parmananda Dev Goswami; Executive President Ranjit Mahanta; Central Committee Vice Presidents Upendra Narayan Goswami and Ashok Mahanta; General Secretary Taranath Mahanta; Janmoni Mahanta, President of Samannita Yuva Tirtha; and Nagaon District President Jugal Chandra Goswami, along with over a hundred distinguished participants.----------
