
Deoria, 04 June (HS): On Thursday, marking the completion of
12 years of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sadar
MP Shashank Mani, along with party officials, interacted with intellectuals in
the city's Gayatripuram to share the government's achievements. He said that
the 12 years of the Modi government are a saga of India's reconstruction,
development, and self-reliance.
The MP stated that the country has achieved many historic
milestones in the last 12 years. He added that, realizing the commitment of
Antyodaya, 800 million people were provided with free rations, 120 million
toilets, 40 million permanent homes, and 100 million Ujjwala gas connections.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, tap water was provided to millions of homes, and
millions of people received health coverage through the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Shashank Mani said that in 2014, India was the world's 10th
largest economy, while today the country has reached fifth place and is rapidly
moving towards becoming the third largest economy. Citing initiatives like Make
in India, Digital India, and UPI, he said that India has shown the world a new
direction in technology and digital payments.
He said that in recent years, there has been unprecedented
development in national highways, railways, airports, and digital connectivity.
4G and 5G services have been expanded to villages, bringing modern facilities
to rural areas.
The MP also listed national security, the removal of Article
370 from Kashmir, the successful G-20 presidency, and the construction of the
Ram Temple in Ayodhya as major achievements of the government. He said that
today India is playing a strong leadership role on the global stage. City
President Ramesh Verma, Media Incharge Prabhakar Tiwari, Sudhir Srivastava,
City General Secretary Sudhir Madheshiya, Kailashnath Chaturvedi, B.D. Pandey,
Omprakash Singh, Anand Mani, Vijay Prasad, Devnandan Yadav, Udaybhan Tiwari and
many other intellectuals and BJP workers were present at the event.
