Lucknow, 04 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Higher Education
Minister Yogendra Upadhyay will be on a two-day visit to Kanpur and Agra on
June 4 and 5, 2026. During his stay, he will review the progress of development
projects, the law and order situation, and the effective implementation of the
government's welfare schemes. He will also interact with public representatives
and the general public to learn about regional needs and public problems.
According to the scheduled program, Minister Upadhyay will
arrive in Kanpur from Lucknow on June 4. Here, he will speak to media
representatives and provide information regarding the state government's
priorities and development work. Afterward, he will participate in the District
Administrative Coordination Committee meeting, review the work of various
departments, and provide necessary guidance to officials.
In the evening, he will attend a Chaupal program organized
in a rural area to listen to the problems of the public. On June 5, Minister
Upadhyay will conduct a detailed assessment of development works,
infrastructure projects, public welfare schemes, and the law and order
situation at a high-level review meeting in Kanpur. The meeting will receive
progress reports from departmental officials and place special emphasis on the
timely and quality implementation of schemes. Following the review meeting, the
Higher Education Minister will depart for Agra.
