
Bhubaneswar, 04 June (H.S.): Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday lauded Odisha’s remarkable performance at the National Panchayat Awards 2025, where the state secured five prestigious awards, calling it a matter of immense pride and a testament to effective grassroots governance.
In a message shared on his official social media platform X, the Chief Minister said the achievement reflects the collective participation, good governance practices, and dedicated public service being delivered through Panchayati Raj Institutions across the state.
“Winning five National Panchayat Awards at a national-level event held in New Delhi is a moment of great pride and honour for Odisha. Ganjam district has won three awards, while Keonjhar and Sundargarh districts have secured one award each. This achievement strengthens our resolve and inspires us to work harder towards building a developed Odisha,” Majhi stated.
The Chief Minister congratulated the district administrations, elected representatives, government officials, and citizens of the award-winning districts for their outstanding contribution to grassroots development and public service.
He expressed confidence that the success would motivate local governance institutions across the state to achieve even higher standards of performance in the future.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the district administrations, officers, public representatives, and local communities associated with this achievement. I hope this spirit of excellence and success continues to grow in the years ahead,” he added.
