Guwahati, 04 June (HS): The swearing-in ceremony of ministers designated for induction into the Assam Council of Ministers will be held on Friday at 12:45 pm at the Jyoti-Bishnu International Kala Mandir in Guwahati.

The ceremony will be attended by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and other dignitaries. The event will be livestreamed exclusively by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Assam.

Organisers have requested all invited guests and officials to reach the venue by 12:00 noon and take their designated seats to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.

Notably, the Chief Minister has been in New Delhi for the past four days, where he held extensive discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other central leaders regarding the expansion of the state cabinet.

However, as of the filing of this report, the list of ministers to be inducted into the new cabinet has not yet been made public.-----------
