In a social media post, the Chief Minister said Captain Jintu Gogoi's supreme sacrifice to safeguard the nation's security and uphold the honour of the motherland reflects unparalleled courage, unwavering dedication to duty and deep patriotism.

He added that the brave son of Assam and India would forever remain a source of inspiration for the people of Assam and the entire nation and offered his heartfelt homage to the valiant soldier on his martyrdom day.----------
