
Lucknow, 27 June (HS): On International MSME Day, Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recognizes the state's extensive micro,
small, and medium company network of over 96 lakh units, which employs over 3
crore people. The administration has routinely commemorated the event by
initiating big entrepreneurial projects and loan disbursements to encourage
youngsters and craftsmen.
“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of
the state and entrepreneurs on 'MSME Day', dedicated to entrepreneurship,
innovation, and self-reliance. Under the successful guidance of the Hon'ble
Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, Uttar Pradesh's MSME sector is emerging
today as the growth engine of the country's economy. Through the synergy of
traditional arts, skills, and modern technology, our entrepreneurs are
transforming Vocal for Local into Local for Global, thereby enhancing the pride
of the state on the global stage,” he mentioned in a post on X.
“Today, on the occasion of 'International MSME Day', Uttar
Pradesh's resolve for entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, and self-reliance
will gain new energy. On this occasion, in Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, along with
the curtain raiser ceremony of the fourth edition of the U.P. International
Trade Show (UPITS), tool kits will be distributed to the beneficiaries of ODOP
and Vishwakarma Labour Honour Scheme, subsidy cheques to the beneficiaries of
MSME units and the technology upgradation scheme, and financial assistance to
the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development
Campaign. Additionally, bankers who have performed exemplary work will also be
honoured,” he added.
“Thereafter, with the inauguration and foundation stone
laying of 70 development projects, including the main administrative building
of the Noida Authority located in Sector-96 at a cost of Rs. 2,479 crore, a new
chapter of development will be ushered in. Let us become partners in this
journey of development towards a self-reliant, entrepreneurial, and 'Developed
Uttar Pradesh',” he opined prior to signing off.
