
Lucknow, 22 June (HS): Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh's
Chief Minister, is on a development visit of Firozabad and Aligarh. During his
trips, he will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for a number of development
initiatives, as well as distribute welfare benefits to beneficiaries. On
Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Firozabad and
Aligarh will enter a new era of development and empowerment with the
inauguration and foundation laying of numerous projects.
Adityanath stated that projects worth more than Rs 658 crore
in Firozabad and Rs 462 crore in Aligarh will be unveiled during his visit to
the two districts later that day. The chief minister said today that Firozabad,
the glass city, and Aligarh, the lock city, will embark on a new chapter of
growth and empowerment.
He stated that 81 development projects in Firozabad and 85
in Aligarh will be launched or have the foundation stones laid. Adityanath
stated that recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) will be given
housing keys, while those of other government initiatives would get certificates,
cheques, and equipment. He remarked that the new Uttar Pradesh's identity is
defined by development projects and recipients' smiles.
UP CM stated in a post on X, “ 'Firozabad, the City of
Glass' and 'Aligarh, the City of Locks' will today bear witness to a new chapter
in development and public empowerment. In Firozabad, 81 development projects
costing more than Rs. 658 crore, and in Aligarh, 85 development projects
costing Rs. 462 crore, will be inaugurated/foundation stones laid.
Additionally, house keys will be handed over to beneficiaries of the Pradhan
Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), and certificates/cheques/equipment will be
distributed to beneficiaries of various schemes. Development projects and
smiles on the faces of beneficiaries—this is the identity of the 'New Uttar
Pradesh'.”
