Guwahati, 22 June (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to devotees on the auspicious occasion of the commencement of the sacred Ambubachi Mela at Maa Kamakhya Dham.

In a message, the Chief Minister offered his prayers at the feet of Maa Kamakhya and wished that the Goddess bless everyone with happiness, peace, prosperity and spiritual strength. He said the divine grace of Maa Kamakhya should guide and enrich the lives of all devotees.

Dr. Sarma also warmly welcomed pilgrims and devotees from across India and different parts of the world who have arrived in Assam to participate in the revered spiritual congregation.

Describing Ambubachi Mahayog as a deeply significant religious occasion, the Chief Minister prayed for the well-being of all and invoked the blessings of Maa Kamakhya for harmony, prosperity and spiritual upliftment.---------
