Lucknow, 22 June (HS): The Uttar Pradesh government has

taken an important initiative to prepare skilled and semi-skilled human

resources as per the requirements of industries in the state and to provide

modern skill training and plug and play facilities to the youth. The

Directorate of Industries and Enterprise Promotion, Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur has

invited Expression of Interest (EoI) from eligible and willing institutions for

the selection of anchor partner for the development, operation, management and

implementation of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Employment and Industrial Zone.

This project will be developed on a

hub-and-spoke model in the state. It will create a skilled and

semi-skilled workforce tailored to industry demand in various industrial

sectors, integrate modern training facilities, and provide employment-oriented

skills training to youth. The goal is to accelerate industrial development in

the state by establishing better coordination between training, industry, and

employment.

The Directorate has invited expressions of interest from

interested and eligible organizations until June 27, 2026. Anchor partners will

be selected according to established standards and procedures. Commissioner and

Director of Industries, Uttar Pradesh, K. Vijayendra Pandian, stated that

interested organizations can obtain detailed guidelines, eligibility, and

application process information from the departmental website,

timeframe.
