Kushinagar, 02 June (HS): Speaking from Kushinagar on

Tuesday on the issue of development versus anarchy, Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath said that during the previous governments, Uttar Pradesh was known

for making pistols and bombs, whereas today the same Uttar Pradesh is making

BrahMos missiles for the security of the country. Previous governments used to

make pistols and bombs to rob innocent people and businessmen. They used to

compromise the safety of daughters, but we have corrected these hooligans.

Those who did not get corrected, who did not agree with words, have definitely

agreed with bullets.

On Tuesday, at the inauguration and foundation stone laying

ceremony of 278 development projects worth over 424 crore rupees in Kushinagar,

the Chief Minister said that the distorted mindset of previous governments

brought disease, hunger, and unemployment to Kushinagar. However, the

double-engine government has effectively attacked both encephalitis and the

mafia, creating a new environment of development, security, and employment.

Kushinagar is no longer a symbol of backwardness, but becoming a symbol of a

new Uttar Pradesh moving forward at bullet speed.

The picture of Kushinagar has changed due to the efforts of

the double engine government.

The Chief Minister said that Kushinagar, the land of Lord

Rama's son Kush, Lord Buddha, and Lord Mahavira's penance, is today reaching

new heights of development. Nine to ten years ago, the district struggled with

an identity crisis, encephalitis, mafia rule, hunger, unemployment, and chaos.

Mining mafia terrorized farmers, farmers were exploited, and they didn't

receive fair prices for their produce. Health and education facilities were in

disrepair, and reports of starvation deaths among the Musahar community in the

Fazilnagar and Kasya regions were common occurrence. In 2014, under the

leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country chose a new path, and

thanks to the efforts of the double-engine government, Kushinagar's landscape

has transformed. Today, nearly 90,000 poor people in the district receive

housing, over 3.14 lakh families receive toilets, free rations, and numerous

public welfare services, including health coverage under the Ayushman Bharat

scheme. Previously, riots, crime, and lawlessness were the hallmarks of the

state, but today, security, development, and the welfare of the poor are the

new identity. Without stopping, without wavering and without bowing down, the

government is working to provide the benefits of the schemes to the last

person.

Mosquito and mafia, both problems solved: The Chief Minister

said that Kushinagar, where a medical college, university, and airport were

once unimaginable, now boasts facilities like its own medical college,

international airport, and agricultural and technology university. The

agricultural university will begin operations this semester, and students will

be admitted. The price of sugarcane for farmers is being increased from Rs. 315

to Rs. 400 per quintal, and timely payments are being ensured. Encephalitis has

virtually been eradicated, just as the mafia rule has ended in Uttar Pradesh.

Mosquitoes used to bring disease, and the mafia caused unemployment, but the

double-engine government has addressed both problems. Today, Kushinagar's

daughters and youth are being selected for various government jobs, including

the police, and are also benefiting from new employment opportunities created

by investment. Giving credit to the elected representatives, the Chief Minister

said that previously, Tamkuhi Raj and Fazilnagar were the subject of neglect

and ridicule, not development. Today, thanks to the efforts of the MLA and MP,

development projects are being implemented. A proposal has been submitted to

change the name of Fazilnagar to Pavagadh, which will give the region global

recognition by connecting it with the legacy of Lord Mahavira. Good public

representatives bring development, security, employment, and prosperity, and

the double-engine government is working tirelessly to ensure fair prices for every

farmer, opportunities for every youth, security for every daughter, and a

better life for every family.

Samajwadi Party is declared anti-Ram: The Chief Minister

said that the construction of a grand temple for Lord Ram in Ayodhya symbolizes

the triumph of centuries of struggle, faith, and determination. After the

temple was destroyed by foreign invaders at Lord Ram's birthplace 498 years

ago, many generations struggled to rebuild it. However, the construction of the

Ram temple gained real momentum during the tenure of the double-engine BJP

government. The Congress party could have built the Ram temple after

independence, but it prevented it. The Samajwadi Party has been avowedly

anti-Ram. These people continually created obstacles, but our resolve remained

unwavering. Today, a grand temple for Lord Ram has been built in Ayodhya, and

modern Ayodhya, with its grandeur, development, and spiritual grandeur, evokes

the feeling of the Treta Yuga. The historic moment of the consecration of Ram

Lalla by Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched the hearts of millions of

devotees, and tears of joy filled the eyes of the people on that occasion.

A grand Ram temple was built in Ayodhya with the power of

one vote: The Chief Minister said that in a democracy, the power of a single

vote is visible in Ayodhya, Lucknow, and Delhi. It was this mandate that led to

the construction of the magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the abrogation of

Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttar Pradesh becoming a manufacturing

hub for the BrahMos missile. When a brave Indian soldier fires a BrahMos

missile at the enemy, Pakistan cries out, Save us, save us! The

people of Kushinagar no longer need to look back on the path to development, as

the double-engine government will ensure no shortage of funds for development

and will meet the needs of every sector, accounting for every penny. Kushinagar

was never backward; rather, the distorted policies of previous governments

pushed it into a crisis of disease, hunger, and unemployment. Now, the district

is moving forward at a rapid pace, powered by development, education, health,

employment, and modern infrastructure.

On this occasion, Minister in charge of Kushinagar Dinesh

Pratap Singh, MP Deoria Shashank Mani, MP Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan, MLA Tamkuhi

Raj Dr. Asim Kumar, MLA Fazilnagar Surendra Kumar Kushwaha, District Panchayat

President Savitri Jaiswal, BJP District President Durgesh Rai and other

dignitaries were present.

The Chief Minister distributed acceptance letters, cheques

and tool kits to the beneficiaries.

During the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

distributed acceptance letters, cheques, and tool kits to beneficiaries of

various departmental schemes. Housing approval letters were awarded to Sandhya

Devi and Priyanka under the Chief Minister's Housing Scheme of the Rural

Development Department. Approval letters were distributed to Kumari Shreya

Sharma and Kumari Kriti under the Cochlear Implant Scheme of the Department of

Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Under the State Rural Livelihood

Mission, self-help group representatives Abhineti Singh and Nibha Gaur were

presented with checks totaling Rs. 13 crore. The Agriculture Department handed

over keys to the Farmer Machinery Bank to Vivek Gupta, while Manoj Kushwaha

received a cheque for Rs. 10 lakh under the Millets Promotion Program. Approval

letters were distributed to Kumari Anushka and Gurfan Ali under the District

Probation Department's Child Service Scheme. A sewing machine tool kit was

awarded to Kumari Rubina Khatoon under the Industry Department's Vishwakarma

Shramik Samman Yojana. Sabia Khatoon was honored with an acceptance letter

under the Child Development and Nutrition Department's Pradhan Mantri Matru

Vandana Yojana.
