Bhubaneswar, 02 June (H.S.): The President of India and the Prime Minister have confirmed their participation in a grand public event to be held at Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district on June 20 to mark the completion of two years of the Odisha Government.

To ensure the successful organization of the programme, a high-level review meeting was held today at Lok Seva Bhavan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed preparations related to security arrangements, public convenience, traffic management, and adequate parking facilities for the large number of people expected to attend the event. Emphasizing the significance of the occasion, particularly in view of the participation of both the President and the Prime Minister, he directed officials to make special efforts to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the programme.

Officials informed the meeting that several important projects of significance to Odisha are scheduled to be inaugurated and have their foundation stones laid by the President and the Prime Minister during the event.

The programme is expected to be one of the major highlights of the State Government’s second-anniversary celebrations and will showcase key developmental initiatives undertaken across Odisha.
