
Chandigarh, 19 June (H.S.) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up
preparations for the three-day Punjab visit of its National President, Nitin
Nabin, beginning on June 20. Party leaders and workers across the state are
actively engaged in organizing the visit, which is being seen as a significant
event for strengthening the BJP’s organizational presence in Punjab.

Dhillon is personally overseeing the preparations and holding a series of
meetings with senior leaders, district presidents, office-bearers, and party
workers. The meetings are focused on reviewing arrangements, coordinating
programs, and ensuring maximum participation of party cadres during the
national president’s visit.
According to party sources, special
preparations are underway in Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana. Various BJP
wings and cells have been assigned specific responsibilities to ensure the
smooth conduct of all events. Preparations for welcome ceremonies, workers’
meetings, and organizational interactions have entered the final stage.
Nitin Nabin will arrive in Amritsar
on June 20, where he will pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and visit
Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, and Ram Tirath Temple, paying tribute to
Punjab’s rich spiritual, cultural, and historical heritage. Later in the day,
he will travel to Jalandhar and interact with party workers and office-bearers.
On June 21, Nabin will participate
in the International Yoga Day celebrations at Lovely Professional University.
He will then proceed to Ludhiana, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the BJP’s
new district office and hold meetings with senior organizational leaders. In
the evening, he will interact with industrialists and members of the business
community.
Party leaders believe that the
national president’s visit will inject fresh energy into the BJP’s
organizational structure in Punjab and accelerate its expansion efforts ahead
of the 2027 Assembly elections. BJP workers across the state are working
tirelessly to make the visit a grand success, reflecting the enthusiasm and
confidence within the party ranks.
