
Bhubaneswar, 16 June (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and all stakeholders on the successful flight test of the Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister described the successful missile test as a significant milestone in India's defence sector and a testament to the country's growing capabilities in indigenous defence technology.
Majhi said the achievement highlights India's increasing self-reliance in advanced defence systems and reflects the remarkable progress being made under the nation's indigenous research and development programmes.
The Chief Minister noted that the successful test marks another important step towards strengthening India's strategic and defence capabilities. He lauded the efforts of DRDO scientists, engineers and all associated agencies for their contribution to the development and testing of the missile system.
