New Delhi, 15 June (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the NDA government has focused on improving the quality of life of ordinary citizens over the past 12 years through better infrastructure, public services, healthcare and education.

In a message, the Prime Minister said governance during the last decade has increasingly been aimed at making opportunities more accessible and reducing difficulties faced by people in their daily lives.

Our efforts are about easier access to opportunities, better infrastructure, improved public services, affordable healthcare, quality education, cleaner cities and reduced burdens in everyday life, Modi said.

Describing his administration as a government for the middle class, the Prime Minister said the middle class has contributed significantly to nation-building and its aspirations remain a priority.

Modi said it was a privilege to work towards fulfilling the aspirations of the middle class and ensuring that development reaches all sections of society.
