New Delhi, 15 June (HS): A Delhi court on Monday allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to question three accused lodged in judicial custody in connection with the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case.

Duty Judge Surender Mohit Singh granted the agency's plea seeking permission to interrogate accused Manisha Sanjay Waghmare, Dhanunjay Nivrutti Lokhande and Shubham Madhukar Khairnar in jail.

In its application before the court, the CBI stated that the three accused were allegedly involved in the leakage and dissemination of NEET-UG 2026 question papers prior to the examination held on May 3.

The agency told the court that the interrogation was required as part of its ongoing investigation into the case.

The court allowed the CBI's request to question the accused in judicial custody.

Further investigation in the matter is underway.
