Mirzapur, 10 June (HS): Bihar government's Labour Resources

Minister Arun Prasad reached the world famous Maa Vindhyavasini Dham with his

family on Wednesday. Here, he prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and

well-being of the state and the country by performing darshan and worship of

Maa Vindhyavasini as per the rituals. The temple administration and the

pilgrimage priests welcomed Minister Arun Prasad on his arrival.

Amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras, the pilgrimage priest

Vikas Shukla performed the worship with full rituals. During this, the minister

bowed his head at the feet of Maa Vindhyavasini and performed special worship

and received the mother's blessings. Extensive security arrangements were made

in the temple premises during the darshan and worship. Devotees and local

people also welcomed the minister on his arrival.

After visiting the Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, Minister Arun

Prasad said that Vindhya Dham is one of the country's most important

Shaktipeeths and that he felt a sense of spiritual peace after visiting it. He

prayed to Maa Vindhyavasini for the welfare and prosperity of all citizens.
