Lucknow, 10 June (HS): Dharampal Singh, Cabinet Minister for

Livestock and Dairy Development in Uttar Pradesh, participated as the chief

guest in a program organized at the cowshed in Kishan Tej Kheda, Kakori, on

Wednesday to mark the completion of 12 years of the central government. On this

occasion, he worshipped Mother Cow, received her blessings, and by feeding her

jaggery and gram, spread the message of cow service to the public.

In his address on this occasion, the Livestock Minister said

that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has

established new dimensions in the fields of development, good governance, and

public welfare in the last 12 years. Under his leadership, innovative and

inspiring work is being done in the field of livestock and dairy development,

which is directly benefiting farmers, livestock farmers, and the rural economy.

He said that the Prime Minister's mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,

Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas is continuously moving the country

forward towards self-reliance and realizing the vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha

Bharat.

Dharampal Singh said that through a joint initiative of the

central and state governments, livestock health services are being taken to

every village. In this regard, innovative systems like mobile veterinary units

are operating in Uttar Pradesh, providing veterinary services to livestock

owners at their doorsteps. The state has received 520 mobile veterinary units,

and by calling the toll-free number 1962, veterinary assistance is provided

within the stipulated time. This system has given new impetus to animal

treatment, vaccination, and health protection.

Appealing to the farmers and cattle herders present on the

occasion, the Livestock Minister said that cows that have stopped producing

milk should not be abandoned, but should be properly cared for or protected in

local cow shelters. Cattle are an important pillar of our cultural heritage and

rural economy. Cow protection is not only a social responsibility but also an

important pledge for future generations. The government is continuously working

to protect and promote cattle, and increase the income of cattle herders.

He said that under the Prime Minister's leadership, the

animal husbandry and dairy sectors have been given equal importance as

agriculture, resulting in significant achievements in milk production,

livestock health, breed improvement, and employment generation. Various

government schemes are working to economically empower rural families, women,

and small livestock farmers.

On this occasion, Minister of State for Livestock and Dairy

Development, Krishna Paswan, stated that the state government is working with

full commitment to the protection of cattle and the welfare of cattle herders.

the large cow conservation center and observed the arrangements for straw,

fodder, drinking water and health services available for the cattle and

field of cow conservation and promotion. During the program, the achievements

of the central government in the last 12 years and the work done in the field
