
Pune, 25 May (HS): Pune police arrested six Bangladeshi women illegally
staying in the red-light area of Budhwarpeth.

Police and Khadak Police raided Sagar Building in the area and arrested the
women engaged in the flesh trade. They were illegally brought here allegedly
for training in Buaety Parlour, domestic work and tailoring work, but were
pushed into prostitution under threats.
The operation to
detect foreign nationals infiltrating in India, is being carried out under the
guidance of Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar and Zone-1 Deputy Commissioner of
Police.
Enquiry into the source
through which they crossed the border, procured documents etc was in progress.
