Jammu, 25 May (H.S.): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday said that the situation at the Gulmarg Gondola remains fully under control after the cable car service was temporarily suspended following a technical fault.

In a statement shared by the Office of the Chief Minister on X, the government said that all gondola cabins are safe and intact, while rescue teams have been pressed into service to evacuate stranded tourists safely.

The administration said it is closely monitoring the situation and trained personnel are carrying out rescue and evacuation operations on the ground.

Officials urged the public not to panic, assuring that all necessary safety measures are in place and the matter is being handled efficiently.
