20 May (HS): Rahul Gandhi wants to form an alliance with the BSP in the

upcoming elections. He sent several people, including the Barabanki MP, to

Mayawati's home to discuss the possibility. Congress leaders who arrived at

Mayawati's doorstep with a message from Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi

had to return empty-handed. Mayawati refused to meet them. The Congress leaders

left after writing their names on the gate. However, party leaders claim they

were there for a formal meeting.

chief and former Chief Minister Mayawati is currently in Lucknow. Upon

receiving this information, National President of the Congress Scheduled Caste

Department Rajendra Pal Gautam, State President of the department and MP Tanuj

Punia, and other leaders arrived at Mayawati's residence and sent a message

asking for a meeting. It is rumored that they had gone with a message from Congress

General Secretary Rahul Gandhi. They wanted to discuss the upcoming assembly

elections, but Mayawati thwarted their plans. She refused to meet with the

Congress leaders, forcing them to return empty-handed.

There are various discussions in the state's

politics regarding the uninvited visit of Congress leaders to Mayawati's

doorstep. In this regard, Rajendra Pal Gautam, National President of the

Scheduled Castes Department of the Congress Party, said, She is a former

Chief Minister from the Dalit community. Therefore, it is our responsibility to

inquire about her well-being. We have mentioned our names at the gate. When she

calls, we will go to meet her again.
