Jammu, 20 May (H.S.): A delegation of the Baba Buta Ram Ji Samadhi Sthal, Miran Sahib Committee, led by its president Bishan Das Majotra, called on Sat Sharma at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, here, today to seek support for the construction of a Community Hall at the revered shrine premises.

The delegation met Sat Sharma in the presence of Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA. J&K BJP general secretary, Baldev Singh Billawaria, party spokespersons, Balbir Ram Rattan and Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia, senior leader, Veenu Khanna, and other prominent leaders were also present during the interaction.

The Committee members informed the BJP leadership that they had earlier approached Sat Sharma and Dr. Devinder Manyal, in the presence of local MLA, Dr. Narinder Singh, regarding the urgent requirement for a Community Hall at the sacred site. They explained that the Samadhi Sthal witnesses a large influx of devotees and visitors during religious and social gatherings, but the absence of proper infrastructure creates severe inconvenience for pilgrims and local residents, especially during adverse weather conditions such as heavy rains and extreme heat.

The delegation submitted a formal memorandum along with a tentative project estimate, requesting the early allocation of funds so that the construction process could begin without delay.

Sat Sharma, addressing the delegation, supported their demand for a Community Hall at Baba Buta Ram Ji Samadhi Sthal, and assured the committee that their genuine demand would be considered empathetically and the necessary steps would be initiated at the earliest. He said that religious and spiritual places not only strengthen faith but also serve as centres of social harmony, brotherhood, and community interaction. He further emphasized that providing better facilities at such places is essential for the convenience of devotees and local residents alike.

Sat Sharma stressed that the BJP remains committed to addressing public concerns and extending support for developmental works that benefit society at large. He assured the committee that all possible efforts would be made to expedite the matter in coordination with the concerned authorities.
