(HS): The results of HSC (Std XII) examinations conducted by the Maharashtra
Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has been announced. The total
pass percentage in the state of 89.79, and the Konkan region retained the top
position in the state with 94.14 per cent pass result.
The regional Board-wise
results are –
Konkan – 94.14 %
Pune – 91.25 %
Amravati – 90.92%
Nashik – 90.72%
Mumbai – 90.08%
Kolhapur – 89.97%
Chhatrapati
Sambhajinagar – 88.68%
Nagpur – 88/67%
Latur – 84.14%.
A total of
14,44,713 regular students had enrolled for the examinations, of which 14,33,058
appeared and 12,86,843 passed under the nine regional boards. Besides the
regular students, 37,559 had enrolled as private students, of which 36,941
appeared and 29,634 cleared the examinations. The results is 80.21%.
DISABLED: The results
of p[ersons with disabilities (Divyang) students is encouraging at 90.58%. A
total of 8,446 had enrolled for the examinations, of which 8,364 appear and 7,597
have passed.
GIRLS BEAT BOYS:
Girl students have outscored with 93.15% pass results, compared to boys who
have scored 86.80% pass results I the state.
Out of the 153
subjectes in which examinations were conducted by the Board, results in 26
subjects are 100%.
