
New Delhi, 02 May (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attentively heard the problems, complaints, and suggestions of residents from the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency during a public hearing organized on Saturday. A large number of citizens presented their various issues directly to the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister issued clear directives to officials from relevant departments to take immediate action and ensure resolutions within stipulated timelines. She emphasized that public hearings are not mere formalities but an effective mechanism to understand public expectations and fulfill them expeditiously.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that suggestions and feedback received during public hearings are of utmost importance to the government, as policies and schemes are refined to become more people-centric based on them. She reiterated the Delhi government's unwavering commitment to swift and transparent resolution of ordinary citizens' issues.
The Chief Minister also outlined that comprehensive development of basic infrastructure in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency is underway at a rapid pace. These initiatives encompass strengthening roads, ensuring clean and uninterrupted water supply, establishing Atal canteens, expanding Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandirs, installing water ATMs, modernizing and fortifying parks, and developing organized parking facilities.
She affirmed that the government's objective is to transform Shalimar Bagh into a model assembly constituency where citizens receive all essential amenities of high quality. Continuous monitoring and coordination are being maintained to achieve this.
Senior officials from relevant departments were present during the program, and several issues were resolved on the spot. The Chief Minister instructed officials to expeditiously dispose of pending cases to provide relief to citizens.
