Kanpur,

19 May (HS): In Uttar Pradesh, preparations have intensified to link cow

protection not only from a religious and social perspective, but also with

scientific agriculture, the rural economy, and the employment revolution. Under

the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with the blessings of the

protected cow, a new model of agricultural revolution based on

micro-entrepreneurship is being developed in the state, in which the advanced

technology of IIT Kanpur is going to play a key role. Through the advanced

technology of IIT Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh will now show the country a new

direction.

Cow

shelters in Uttar Pradesh will no longer be limited to mere conservation

centers, but will be developed as a new force for organic farming, organic

fertilizer production, and the rural economy. IIT Kanpur scholars have developed

a modern technology for producing high-quality organic fertilizer based on cow

dung and urine, making farming more natural, sustainable, and profitable for

farmers.

Akshay

Srivastava, a PhD scholar in the Department of Biological Sciences and

Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur, developed this advanced agricultural technology.

Professor Dr. Amitabha Bandyopadhyay is leading the research and technology

development. This technology will scientifically produce high-quality organic

fertilizer from cow dung and urine. This will reduce dependence on chemical

fertilizers and make farming more natural and environmentally friendly.

The

Yogi government is preparing to integrate this entire system into a

micro-entrepreneurship model. Under this initiative, rural youth, women, and

farmers will be connected to small-scale fertilizer units, creating large-scale

employment and self-employment opportunities in villages. This model will not

be limited to agricultural production, but will also spur new economic

activities in rural areas. The Yogi government plans to ensure that organic

products produced through cow shelters reach farmers directly, creating a

strong income cycle from production at the village level.

A

new economic model will be linked to cow shelters: The state's cow shelters

will no longer be merely animal conservation centers, but will also form the

basis of a new development model for organic agriculture and the rural economy.

By linking the cow-based economy with scientific technology and modern

agricultural systems, Uttar Pradesh is poised to present a new direction to the

country. If successful, this model will simultaneously boost employment,

organic farming, and natural agriculture in rural areas. It will also reduce

farmers' costs and improve the quality of farming.

UP

can become the largest cow-based scientific agriculture center in the country: Shyam

Bihari Gupta, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Cow Service Commission, said on

Tuesday that if this model is successful on a large scale, Uttar Pradesh could

become the country's largest center for cow-based scientific farming and

organic fertilizer technology. He said that the Yogi government is working on a

model that could become an example for the entire country in the future by

linking cow protection with rural development, employment, and scientific

agriculture.
