Guwahati, 19 May (HS): A joint meeting between the Assam Financial Corporation (AFC) and the Rajasthan Financial Corporation (RFC) was held at Financial Bhawan in Paltan Bazar on Tuesday during the two-day Assam visit of an RFC delegation. The information was shared by the corporation in an official press statement.

The Rajasthan delegation was represented by Executive Director Dr. Har Sahay Meena (IAS), Deputy General Manager Ravinder and Deputy Manager Sanjay Aswal. On behalf of AFC, Deputy General Manager Kedar Bora, Assistant General Manager Bipul Choudhury, along with other officials, attended the meeting.

During the discussion, both sides deliberated in detail on various administrative and institutional practices adopted by the Assam Financial Corporation. The meeting also focused on the support extended by the Assam Government to the corporation, measures taken to reduce Non-Performing Assets (NPA) and loan recovery mechanisms for financially stressed and loss-making units.

Speaking on the occasion, RFC Executive Director Dr. Har Sahay Meena described the interaction and exchange of ideas as highly informative and productive. He stated that the meeting proved to be beneficial and insightful for the officials of the Rajasthan Financial Corporation.------------
