Mumbai, 19 May (HS): Three members of the same

family from Pune died in collision between two vehicles on Tuesday morning. The

accident occurred on Kondi village in Solapur district. Two people received

injuries in the accident.

According to Solapur Police, Ravi Khandagale and

family, resident of Dehu Road, Pune, were going to Akkalkot when their car lost

control and hit a container truck from behind. The impact was so hard that

three people died on the site, while two received injuries. The car turned into

a heap pof metal in the accident. The deceased have been identified as Sindhu

Ravi Khandagale (42), her sister Nanda Bhaurao Nathkakar (45), and

one-and-a-half year old child Rudraksha Morey, Father of Rudraksha, Umesh

Prakash Morey (32) and mother Sakshi were critically injured. They have been

rushed to a hospital.

Solapur had initiated investigation into the cause

of the accident.
