Bhubaneswar, 19 May (H.S.) : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri.

In a social media post, Pradhan described the passing of Major General Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri (Retd.) as extremely saddening. He said Khanduri’s personality symbolised national service, discipline and good governance, and that he set high standards both in the Indian Army and in public life.

The Union Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family, wishing them strength to bear the loss.
