Guwahati, 18 May (HS): Atul Bora has been given the additional charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department as an interim arrangement.

According to an official notification issued by the Governor of Assam Lakshman Prasad Acharya on the advice of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Bora will also look after matters relating to the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

At present, Atul Bora is handling the Panchayat and Rural Development, Implementation of Assam Accord, Border Protection and Development and Excise departments. The notification was issued by the Chief Secretary of Assam.-----------
