
New Delhi, 17 May (H.S.): Delhi Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Valmiki Basti Chaupal in Ghitorni village. He stated that the Chaupal would emerge as an important center for social harmony, public convenience, and dialogue among local residents.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Parvesh Sahib Singh said that when his father, Dr. Sahib Singh Verma, served as the Chief Minister of Delhi, a new era of developmental work had begun in the rural areas of the capital. He added that after 27 years, with the Bharatiya Janata Party once again forming the government in Delhi, development and public welfare initiatives are now progressing rapidly once again.
He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government remains fully committed to the development of Delhi’s villages, rural regions, and every section of society.
Several prominent leaders and local representatives were present on the occasion, including Member of Parliament Ramvir Singh Bidhuri,MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar, Municipal Councillors Sundar Tanwar and Shikha Tyagi, Mandal Presidents Jyoti and Alok, Ravindra Malik, along with numerous party workers and local residents.
