Bhubaneswar, 17 May (H.S.) : Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Sunday participated in the ‘Nimapara Path Utsav 2026’ held in Nimapara.

During the event, she witnessed various awareness programmes presented by students and local artists, including street plays, one-act plays, Pala, and Daskathia. The festival also showcased traditional folk performances such as tribal dance, horse dance, and Sankirtan, reflecting Odia cultural identity. She expressed gratitude to the people of Nimapara for their enthusiastic participation in the event.

On the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also unveiled the jersey, cap, medal, and mascot ‘Utkarsh Ghoda’ of ‘Utkarsh Nimapara 2.0’. The roadmap for the upcoming activities under the initiative was also announced.

In the coming days, marathons will be organised in Nimapara and Gop. In addition, sports, music, and dance competitions will be held, along with a college-level debate titled ‘Vikas Par Vimarsh’ .
